Networking the right way

Networking is about helping others and not about you or your personal interests. Make friends and be like family to them. If your friend is having a legal issue, help him or her find the right lawyer. If your friend is facing a legal crisis with his or her industry help your friend by contacting the right people in the government who can make the right changes. Send a copy of this letter to your friend and 50 other people in the same industry so they too can join the fight to keep their business alive. Make sure you are taking a stand to support them and you provide them with your contact information in case they want to contact you.

Get to know your friends and find out what they need, what they want, how you can help them grow, and you will find a great deal of satisfaction when you see them happy. Learn to socialize with people who can help you grow. Surround your self with positive people, and walk away from any mocking or negative conversations without compromising.

Remember that networking is not something you do for money or sales. If you help enough people with what they need you will find that your network will grow, and you will be able to help more people. Do not try to sell to them because you are going to break the integrity boundaries. People have too much at hand to be wasting time with another sales pitch that will only be a bunch of baloney. If they are your friends they will choose you over anybody when they come across the need for your product or service.

I learn new things every day, and I keep learning the things that will help me be successful in my life. I love food, and I love to teach. I also like to help people. I am married to a beautiful woman who also likes to help people . We love to help the organizations that feed orphans, we love to write to people in prison and pray for them, and we have a network that include millionaires with a passion to help those with a noble cause.

If you are reading this and you know me personally you will remember all the times we have offered to help you so you can become more successful. Or you may remember the times I referred to you the people you like to get in contact for your business. I have friends in all levels and areas of business. I have referred them to one another, and found that they do appreciate the fact that they saved thousands of dollars and made awesome new connections through you.

Continue to help others without expecting anything back from them. If they appreciate you they will buy from you or refer to you some one who will. You must remember that the principle of giving is not that you give one for one. They might recommend some one to you after you send ten or twenty referrals to them, but in the long run you are becoming an apostle to their industry and you are going to become their first choice when they decide to use your service. You are making friends to become your friends for the rest of your life.

The benefits of networking the right way come because most people who purchase a product or use a service will use it without question when they know you are the one providing that product or service. They will buy from you because they know you, because they know your intentions, because they trust you, and because they know you have helped them first.

Have you had any experiences where you helped some one and became great friends? Please comment at the bottom and share your thoughts.

To your success
